The Easy Way to Find the Deals!

Have you ever wondered how us couponers get such great deals on everything? One of the tools that I use on a weekly basis is Savvy Shopper Deals. If you have not visited Savvy Shopper Deals Website do it now!

1. Click on the green button that says Shopping Wizard
2. Set your location to where ever you are
3. Pick the stores that you want to see and compare (the ones that you would actually shop at)
   
4. If you want pick the ranking that you want (I always pick the WOW meaning it is a great deal)
5. Or, you can enter a product in the search engine and it will bring up the price comparisons for just that product.
   
6. She also posts the coupons and links right there...so easy
7. Print off your list and take it with you in the store!
   

Look at Your Receipts for Free Stuff!

Melea from Freebies2Deals wrote an article published on Sunday in the Now Utah section of the newspaper titled Think you can't coupon? Think again! Her points, CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS for free items. For some of them you will have to fill out a short survey to get each one, but it is so worth it. Some places that offer free items are:

• Cafe Rio - fill out survey and get a free dessert (May I suggest the Key Lime Pie)
• Arby's - fill out the survey online for a free Roast Beef Sandwich
• Victoria's Secret-$10 off your next $50 purchase
• Wendy's - $2 off your next order
• Mimi's Cafe- Buy one get one free breakfast
• Old Navy - 10% off your next purchase

Don't pay for Restaurant Chocolate Cake!

I was speaking with the Costco Bakery Manager on Friday and she let me in on a secret. The amazing "All American Chocolate Cake" at Costco is purchased by expensive restaurants, and served to you at a way marked up price. What???? (One of the restaurants is the most expensive one in UT!)
So the next time you need a chocolate fix pick up one of these cakes. They are found in the back by the bakery on the tables. These cakes are made from scratch at the Costco bakery and are sooooo good. Price should be around $16.99. Make sure you grab a gallon of milk too for $1.78.

By the way - this cake should serve up to 36 people. This is how to do it:

1. Freeze the cake
2. Slice it on top into skinny pieces
   
3. Lay each piece on it's side and cut it into three pieces.
   
4. Drizzle with raspberry/strawberry sauce and place a raspberry/strawberry on the plate to make it pretty.

How to get Free Moving Boxes

Moving can be stressful especially when you have to move yourself! Never pay for moving boxes. Check Craigslist or Utah's KSL to score free boxes and just pick them up. People are always willing to give them away and are glad you are taking them.
